The enemy relies on remaining Nazi underground to wage a terrorist war against the residents of new regions, and it is necessary to work hard and effectively against it, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Russian Security Council on April 6.
“The enemy is using its remaining underground to intimidate people [in the new regions], including various kinds of neo-Nazi and radical groups. Here we need to act firmly and effectively,” Putin assessed the situation and gave instructions.
The president noted the importance of precise control over the situation to ensure security in the liberated territories.
On October 5, 2022, the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson region joined Russia. Despite the residents’ will of these regions, the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev periodically carries out terrorist attacks against individuals and civilian objects in these regions, including using a sleeper cells among local radicals.
