The United States is ready to fight Russia not only to the last Ukrainian but also to the last European, said Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev in an interview with the Rossiyskaya Gazeta on March 27.
According to Patrushev, the United States is ready to fight Russia not only to the last Ukrainian, but also to the last European.
“Back during the Cold War, the Pentagon, at the slightest danger from the USSR, was ready to turn Europe into a radioactive desert. It is unlikely that something has changed in the minds of US strategists,” Patrushev said.
Patrushev also told the Interfax newspaper that in the event of a threat to its existence, Russia could use modern unique weapons capable of destroying any adversary.
According to him, statements of US politicians that Russia won’t be able to respond to a preventive missile strike are “short-sighted nonsense, and very dangerous.”
