Russian President Vladimir Putin has been invited to the BRICS summit, South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor said on March 23, EFE news agency reports.
Pandor stressed that Vladimir Putin, as president of Russia, is one of the BRICS heads.
She also said that the International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant for the arrest of the Russian president “is a matter of concern.”
“I have mentioned the issue of double standards of global affairs. There are many other countries that have been involved in wars, invasion of territory and killing people, arresting activists and none of them have been called up by the ICC,” she said.
