By visiting Mariupol, Putin conveyed several hidden messages to the West, said Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Together with Russia movement and a member of the Zaporozhye region administration’s main council, RIA Novosti wrote on March 20.
“Our president has left several ‘Easter messages’ to the West during his working visit to Mariupol,” he said.
One such message Rogov called a visit to the local Philharmonic Hall. It is in its hall that it is planned to hold an open tribunal for war criminals and Nazis from Ukraine.
He stressed that Putin came to the main hall of the Philharmonic for a reason. “By his presence in this hall, our president showed the West that the idea of holding a tribunal is not off the agenda,” Rogov said.
There is a rostrum for the prosecution and seats for lawyers in the hall. The member of the Zaporozhye region administration’s main council stressed that Nazis from Ukraine and abroad would answer for their crimes according to the law.
The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Bastrykin visited the Philharmonic Hall last October during his visit to Mariupol. Currently, Russian investigators are investigating more than 1.5 thousand criminal cases in connection with the atrocities of the Ukrainian regime in Donbass.
