To win in Ukraine, it is necessary to use all opportunities, including bypassing sanctions, said philosopher, political scientist, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on February 10 on the program Conversation with a Sage on Radio Zvezda.
Contemporary Russia has the ability to bypass sanctions and compensate for disproportions in its own economy through its ties with other countries. All this should be used to the maximum extent possible to win in Ukraine, Kurginyan stressed.
According to him, the Russian economy’s disbalance in favor of gas and oil production is currently compensated by the fact that the necessary technology and products are imported from countries that have not joined the anti-Russian sanctions. These are specifically China, Iran and other countries of the Global South.
“And in that sense, I, for one, would not tear the rest of my hair out in despair that all this is happening using some gray and other schemes. This does not matter at all. ‘Everything for the front! Everything for the victory!’ All for victory on Ukrainian territory. Everything else is not important now. All these are pluses,” Kurginyan said.
At the same time, he noted that contemporary Russia will not be able to withstand a strategic confrontation with the entire West unless it regains its ideological and economic leadership in the world, as the Soviet Union did.
