Russia will face great hardships in the future, and it will not be limited to the Ukrainian conflict, said philosopher, political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on February 3 in an interview with the DPR TV Union channel.
“The war will be fought not only on the Ukrainian front. Of course, it’s good that at the moment this is the only one war. And, of course, it will be very difficult to win it. And, indeed, we need to prepare for great hardships…,” said the political scientist.
On one hand, we should not fall into a dismissive attitude, and, on the other, we cannot ignore successes of the Russian army, stressed Kurginyan. At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that at the moment when the Ukrainian conflict is raging strategically important changes that pose a threat to Russia are taking place else where in the world.
In particular, Kurginyan noted that today, Germany and Japan are strengthening their armies, and South Korea is also preparing to head in this direction. In the meantime, the US “has been preparing for a long time to jump on China.”
“And it’s not over yet: the other members of NATO still have not shown their true faces. And we shall see who will vote for our dismemberment and for the trial of our leadership,” added the expert.
The type of relations that existed between Russia and the West and lasted for the past 30 years are now over, noted Kurginyan. Big conflicts lie ahead for Russia, and it must be ready for them.
“Our goal in this situation is to develop the military-industrial complex in such a way and at such a pace that it allows us to survive in the big conflicts of the future, and they will take place,” concluded Essence of Time‘s leader.
