Russia has found itself one-on-one with the West, even potential Russian allies will “sit on the fence“, stated philosopher, analyst, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview with the DPR TV Union channel on February 3.
Kurginyan noted that the situation for Russia is even more serious than during the Great Patriotic War, when part of the Western world was still on the side of the USSR.
“If then some part of the West did not participate by necessity, now the West will be consolidated, and the rest will ‘sit on the fence’. It is good that they do not fall to their knees and swear an oath to the West. But they will wait,” stated the political analyst.
At the same time, according to Kurginyan, the Ukrainian conflict and what follows is crucial for Russia, and the outcome will be “the existence or non-existence of the Russian people.”
“In proud strategic loneliness we will have to win, for the alternative is simply our non-existence. It is either-or, there is no ford in this fire!” concluded the Essence of Time leader.
