The current moderate success of Russian forces in the Donbass direction and the absence of catastrophic encirclement during the failure in the Kharkov direction terrifies the West, which is determined to win in Ukraine and fight the entire 21st century, philosopher, political scientist, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said in an interview with the Donetsk TV channel Union on February 3.
Kurginyan notes that today we are witnessing a tactically moderate improvement on the front. At the same time, the political scientist warned against excess euphoria over this.
“I want to point out that the heroic successes of our troops in the Donbass direction and in nearby, these heroic successes still consist in the fact that village after village, city after city are being liberated in hard combats, and we have not yet reached the main defense line,” he said.
Kurginyan explained that this defense line includes Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka, Konstantinovka, Toretsk and other ctities in Donbass. This section of the front, according to him, determines the fate of an integral Donbass.
At the same time, the political scientist reminded that Russian troops retreated in the Kharkov direction, which was the biggest failure of Russia’s special military operation. At that time Russian troops have given up territory that is larger than the territory that is being liberated today. At the same time, the political scientist pointed out that all the same it did not lead to the encirclement of our troops.
“All this is true, but the fact that this [Russia’s tactical successes] very much terrifies the West, here I am talking about the collective West, firmly intends: first – to win in Ukraine, the second – to fight the entire 21st century,” Kurginyan stressed.
The philosopher noted that the West after the collapse of the Soviet Union aimed at world domination and does not intend to abandon this trajectory. He added that this is a key doctrine in the consciousness of the West, in its political practice and in the practice of its military-industrial complex.
