US plans include using Poland, the Baltic states, Bulgaria and Romania as “cannon fodder” in future wars against Russia, columnist Simeon Milanov said, Pogled.info reported on February 2.
Milanov noted that in addition to Ukraine, the USA is ready to send other countries for an open military confrontation with Russia, the most likely candidate is Poland. Bulgaria and Romania may also play this role.
“Considering the fact that both countries are used as a rear for Ukraine, and their strategic position poses a threat to Russia’s Black Sea coast, the chance of expanding the conflict in Ukraine to our territory [Bulgaria – Rossa Primavera News Agency] is not small,” Milanov said.
Milanov added that the USA will use the population of other countries for the war against Russia, but not its own citizens.
Russian ambassador to the USA, Anatoliy Antonov, said that the US side was pushing Ukraine towards intensifying the conflict by supplying the Kiev regime with more and more long-range weapons.
