Russia needs to win a victory as crushing as that of Stalingrad, so that the enemy will not be able to recover, Vladimir Konstantinov, chairman of the Crimean parliament, wrote on his Telegram channel on February 2.
On the day of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army in the Battle of Stalingrad, the head of the State Council of Crimea recalled the feat of the Soviet people. It was in this battle, according to the politician, the enemy was dealt a mortal blow. According to the deputy, Nazi Germany was never able to recover after that defeat.
The politician drew an analogy with the present day.
“Today, just as 80 years ago, we need a victory – decisive, crushing, undeniable. We, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of those who stood strong in Stalingrad, must destroy the ideological heirs of German Nazism, armed with weapons produced by the descendants of the German Nazi invaders defeated in Stalingrad,” Konstantinov said.
The head of the State Council of the republic expressed confidence that even today, Russia will win.
