Kiev armed units attacked the village of Novoaidar in the Lugansk People’s Republic, the Russian Defense Ministry’s press service wrote on January 28 in a message on the ministry’s website.
The press service reported that the Kiev militants opened fire on the village at 07:40 a.m. Moscow time, using HIMARS multiple rocket launchers.
As a result of the attack, six residential buildings and a medical facility were damaged.
According to the press service, “as a result of the impact of rockets with high-explosive fragmentation warheads on the building of the medical institution, 14 hospital patients and medical personnel were killed and 24 were wounded in varying degrees of severity.”
According to the press service of the Novoaidar medical facility, “civilian and military medics have been providing necessary medical assistance to the local population and servicemen for many months.”
The press service said that all victims of Ukraine’s missile attack were provided with qualified medical assistance.
