The Czech Republic is planning to set up production of drones for the Ukrainian army, adviser to the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Igor Kimakovsky said, RIA Novosti reported on December 16.

Kimakovsky said, “They are now trying to unfold, among other things, the production of Ukrainian drones in the Czech Republic. That is, they understand that the strikes will be delivered against it [production facility] on the territory of Ukraine by our people, and now they are launching drone production there and hiring Ukrainians directly in the Czech Republic.”

According to him, taking into account the problems of Ukraine’sunited energy system, it is practically impossible to deploy any weapons production on its territory. But such attempts are made. As a result, these facilities become targets for strikes.

“Naturally, all the production facilities consume a very large amount of electricity,” he explained.

On December 15, the acting DPR head Denis Pushilin said that the day before, Donetsk was struck by a Czech multiple rocket launcher (MLRS), which has an automatic loading of ammunition. This MLRS is an upgraded version of the Soviet Grad MLRS, the DPR head explained.
