It is not correct to conclude that the exchange of Bout and Greiner is a step towards solving the crisis between the Russian Federation and the United States, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said, RIA Novosti wrote in its Telegram channel on December 9.
“Relations remain in a sad state,” Peskov said.
The exchange of Victor Bout and Brittney Greiner took place on December 8.
