Moscow doctors who arrived to help in the Donbass performed more than four thousand different surgeries, the Moscow government press service said on the Moscow mayor’s website on December 8.
The press service said that since July 2022, “multidisciplinary teams of doctors from Moscow hospitals have been working in shifts in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Lugansk People’s Republic.” According to the press service, more than 200 specialists from 30 medical institutions of Moscow: surgeons, anesthesiologists-resuscitators, orthopedic traumatologists and many other Moscow doctors performed more than four thousand surgical operations and provided almost 11 thousand patient consultations.
Moscow doctors also help with the organization of hospital care, as well as with the installation and setup of medical equipment.
It was previously reported that more than 280 children from Donbass have been treated and rehabilitated in various Moscow clinics since the beginning of 2022.
