The clash between progress represented by the developing countries and radical Islamism organized by the USA bears a danger as serious as a nuclear war, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on November 11 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
Answering the host’s question on whether the world is about to face chaos or a nuclear war Kurginyan explained that one way to throwing the world into total archaicity is through a conflict of civilizations.
Various renowned scientists addressed the ethnic and cultural borders of civilizations: American philosopher Francis Fukuyama in his book The End of History and the Last Man, American political scientist Samuel Huntington in his publication The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order, and before them German political writer Oswald Spengler in The Decline of the West, and others.
“Inside this world, what a major archaic actor can oppose new countries? To oppose them not with nuclear weapons but in a different way? What kind of an actor is that?
This is so called Islamism, which is constructed within the same capitalism, British or American, and which must not be confused with real Islam,” the political scientist explained.
Kurginyan reminded that the progenitor of the radical Islamism can be called Lord Cromer who fostered the Muslim Brotherhood (organization banned in Russia) in the Suez Canal zone.
Later, the Islamist movements grew more radical, and they gave to the world the Afghani Taliban (organization banned in Russia), al-Qaeda (organization banned in Russia), and ISIS (organization banned in Russia).
“Indeed, we know that after [NATO] bombed Iraq to dust, this ISIS (organization banned in Russia) (!) was raised in US prisons from former Arab officers.
The idea is that these billion-strong masses, which do not want to move towards this capitalism, this secular life etc., should be thrown against whom? China, in the first place,” he indicated.
Kurginyan noted that in order to turn everything upside down in China and India as the incarnations of the new capitalism as well as in Islamic Pakistan or Afghanistan where Taliban (organization banned in Russia) came to power, it would be enough to instigate an internal conflict involving huge masses of their Islamic population.
To this end, the USA has abandoned the idea of building a “new world order” for the sake of a “new world disorder” based on a boiling chaos, network structures, and terrorism, the leader of the movement noted.
“What is it (the ‘new world disorder’) supposed to do? It is supposed to stop the development of the emerging capitalist countries. What is the basis for this development? The basis is a semi-authoritarian catch-up modernization, which demands strong leaders, a substantial domination of certain parties,” the political scientist reminded.
“They [the US] are told, ‘Listen, this is a type of development. For example, in Egypt, [Hosni] Mubarak swore by you and he licked your boots’ – No! Whether he licked or not, this is his problem. We will remove him, put him in jail, and let the Muslim Brotherhood (organization banned in Russia) come back again, followed by some Egyptian Jihad (organization banned in Russia).
– Excuse me, but Saddam Hussein only wanted to promote development. – Oh! He must be gone. We will strike, and he will be gone. There will be ISIS (organization banned in Russia) and chaos. – Well, but what did Iran want in its both incarnations?” Kurginyan wondered.
The analyst assured that the key idea of the creators of the radical Islamism is to bring “the worst mess possible” to the territories of the countries to make a stake on development.
“We will also make such a mess in Indonesia, and in India, and we do not care for anything. And China will have to face this huge pressure. They will get confused, they will have plenty of trouble with their Uigurs, Tibet etc.
We will do this across the globe! Inside, a core will form consisting of countries that will have broken off forever. The main law of capitalism, the law of development, will be canceled. No one will develop, and a huge boiling archaic mass will be in the periphery,” Kurginyan concluded.
