Servicemen of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) captured a Ukrainian army’s stronghold in the village of Nevelskoye, the DPR People’s Militia press service wrote on its Telegram channel on November 1.
According to the press service, soldiers of the 100th Guards Brigade of the DPR People’s Militia took part in the offensive near the village of Nevelskoye, located 20 kilometers west of Donetsk, and stormed the positions of the Ukrainian armed units.
“During the fighting, a large number of weapons were seized, including those produced in foreign countries, and prisoners of war were taken,” the department explained.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian army repulsed an attack by Ukrainian troops in the Berislav direction in the Kherson region.
The captured commander of the Ukrainian army tank platoon Yuriy Yeremenko explained that Ukrainian soldiers are sent to attack without prior reconnaissance and preparation and, in general, disorganization and problems with equipment are the norm for the Ukrainian army.
