Ukrainian POWs asked the DPR parliament to join the Bogdan Khmelnitsky Cossack battalion that is being formed, TASS reported on September 24.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree “On the announcement of partial mobilization in the Russian Federation” on September 21. The Ministry of Defense will carry out mobilization, and the heads of regions have been instructed to ensure the conscription for service under partial mobilization.
The Defense Ministry said that 300,000 reservists with combat experience and specialties required by the FSB will be drafted during partial mobilization.
