The situation in Krasny Liman remains quite difficult, as well as in a number of other towns and villages. The head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin stated this in a video address on September 10.
“Dear friends, briefly about Krasny Liman, the situation there remains quite difficult, as in a number of other towns and villages, nevertheless, I remain in touch with local administrations, with emergency services and our units,” Pushilin said.
He noted that he could not yet report all the information he possessed because it might harm units of joint forces, which is unacceptable right now.
“In general, I want to express the admiration of our people, our Donbass, because not only the north of the Republic is in difficult conditions, but also the historical cities of the Republic are being now shelled daily. I’m talking about Donetsk, Makeevka, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Yelenovka,” the DPR head said.
“Just yesterday 8 people were killed, 27 were wounded, today people were killed in the Kiev, Petrovsky districts in [Donetsk], but nevertheless Donbass is not crushed, Donbass lives, Donbass works. Thanks to such people, Donbass must be defended. We will defend it and, of course, we will win,” he stressed.
Pushilin recalled that Russia and the republics of Donbass are now opposing the collective West, injustice, fascism.
“They want to destroy everything Russian. And not only Donbass, you also understand this very well. We have no other options but to hold on, to win, to go on the attack, and just to work, which is what you and I will do,” he said.
