Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called for a total war against individualism, egocentrism and caudillismo, Últimas Noticias reported on August 22.
“No more arrogance of some pseudo-leaders (…) The more power we have, the more humility [we should have] to listen to the people,” Maduro said.
The president also noted that Venezuela achieves “a great balance in all economic and financial systems.”
It was reported that more than five million Venezuelans participated in the elections of new leaders and street leaders of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
