The development of biological weapons components in Ukraine was carried out in the frameworks of Pentagon programs, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev said, speaking at a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on August 19.
“There are facts of implementation of the Pentagon program in Ukraine in violation of the articles of the Convention on the Prohibition of Biological and Toxin Weapons. The analysis of projects carried out in Ukrainian laboratories gives sufficient grounds to conclude that the development of biological weapons components was carried out near our borders,” he said.
Work carried out in US biolaboratories around the world is non-transparent. The USA does not intend to ensure openness and provide access to their biological programs.
At the same time, it is trying to shift the blame for the origin of the coronavirus to others. This is done to avoid responsibility for their role in the development of the pathogen, as well as to hide the work on the creation of biological weapons, Patrushev said.
