The number of victims of the explosions in Novofiodorovka in Crimea increased to 9 people, the Ministry of Health of Crimea reported on August 9.
The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that there was an explosion of ammunition near Novofiodorovka at the Saki airfield. According to the military, the planes were not damaged.
The Defense Ministry said that the main reason for the accident was a violation of fire safety requirements. The agency specified that so far there are no signs, evidence or facts in favor of the version about sabotage.
