The Ukrainian neo-Nazi battalion Kraken (organization banned in the Russian Federation) lost its combat efficiency as a result of strikes by Russian Air Forces, the Russian Defense Ministry said on August 8.
Ministry’s official spokesman specified that the Ukrainian nationalist battalion was subjected to targeted airstrikes by the Russian Air Force, as well as strikes by missile forces against the nationalists’ temporary deployment sites.
At the moment, the battalion commanders are trying to recruit new militants from Kharkov residents. This became a necessity after the mass losses and desertion of mercenaries.
“In order to urgently replenish the losses, the commanders of the Nazi formation are unsuccessfully trying to get residents of the city of Kharkov to join it,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
At the end of July 2022, up to 350 Nazis from the Kraken battalion (organization banned in Russia) in Kharkov were eleiminated during an attack with high-precision weapons of the Russian Air Force.
