Kadyrov: Ukrainian army destroys infrastructure while leaving Lisichansk

02.07.2022, Lisichansk.

Ukrainian troops shell the infrastructure of Lisichansk in the hope of inflicting casualties on the Russian forces and thus leave ruins behind, the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov said on his Telegram channel on July 2.

“The Ukrainian occupiers leave behind not only mines. They destroy infrastructure in the hope that they can inflict casualties on the personnel of our troops. Today, after our forces entered Lisichansk, they struck the administration building with a Tochka-U missile. However, our fighters were not there,” Kadyrov noted.

According to him, the Ukrainian fighters deliberately seek to leave behind as much destruction as possible so that they can then blame it on Russia and use it in the information war.

“My dear brother, the commander of the Hero of Russia A. Kadyrov special police regiment of the Interior Ministry of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Zamid Chalaev together with the sixth Cossack regiment entered Lisichansk from the direction of Popasnaya and took control of the city. The civilians greeted our servicemen with a sense of relief. Now, after liberation from the Ukrainian occupiers, they can already speak the truth,” Kadyrov stressed.

Earlier it became known that the joint troops of Russia and the LPR had encircled the Ukrainian grouping of troops in Lisichansk, and even the command of the Ukrainian army admitted this. Later it became known that the allied troops were already in the center of Lisichansk.
