The bodies of 26 civilians killed due to shelling by nationalists of the Azov battalion (organization banned in the Russian Federation) were found on the territory of Mariupol hospital No 4. The DPR representation to the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCCC) wrote this on April 21 on its official Telegram channel.
It is specified that on April 20, the bodies were found by the operational team of military experts of the DPR in the JCCCC, led by Major General Ruslan Yakubov together with representatives of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
“A total of 26 dead civilians who had been victims of massive shelling by the Azov nationalist battalion (organization banned in Russia) were found on the 8-meters-long strip near the medical facility building,” the report reads.
Yakubov earlier said that people were dying in the hospital in Mariupol by the dozens because of the Ukrainian punitive forces. On April 17, it was reported about more than twenty corpses found on the territory of the city hospital No 4.
