Waves of migration will sweep Europe due to the sanctions, which in combination with unemployment and decreased standards of living will result in a new fascistization of the West, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in The Meaning of the Game original broadcast published on the movement’s YouTube channel on April 5.
Kurginyan pointed to the collapse of globalization due to the anti-Russian sanctions and cutting Russia and Ukraine off the global market. This, in turn, resulted in higher prices for oil, fuel, metals, agricultural fertilizers, and wheat.
“The sanctions started to increasingly undermine the current state of things, all this disgusting globalization. It began to decay. The result of this decay is not only higher oil and fuel prices. Fuel will be followed by food, other goods etc.,” Kurginyan noted.
“Plus these granaries, which are either cut off the global market like Russia or made incapable like Ukraine. Plus various metals, very important agricultural fertilizers etc.,” he added.
Thus, Europe will face unemployment and decreased household income. As for third- and fourth-world countries, they will face famine. Therefore, the European countries will receive not only millions of refugees from Ukraine, but also people from poor and extremely poor countries. The flows of migrants in combination with decreased standards of living will result in re-fascistization of Europe. This process will be strongly accelerated by the experience of a contemporary Nazi state, which Ukraine has become, Kurginyan believes.
“What is the point here? The point is that life will unevenly worsen. It will worsen in the Western world. And everyone is talking about this:tighten your belts, put on your sweaters etc. It will worsen much more in the third and the fourth world. In the West, however, there will not only be some lack of food and heating, I do not want to dramatize, but also many factories will close. This will result in unemployment. Plus decreased standards of living etc. This will provoke consequent reactions among the Western population,” Kurginyan explained.
“To even greater ‘joy’ of this population, not only millions of Ukrainian refugees will flee, which is serious itself, but also people from the third and the fourth world will join them, in waves. This will further escalate this anti-migrant irritation multiplied by the decreased standards of living. What do you think this will lead to, and where is already leading? Does anyone hope that any centrist of liberal governments will survive? Indeed? Something else will begin. And this something else, which always bears Nazism inside, will combine with the Ukrainian experience,” he added.
The series Kurginyan: The Russian Destiny and the Will of History, or What Russia is Fighting for in Ukraine for discusses the military special operation for the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine as well as major global processes triggered by the Ukrainian events.
