The DPR troops completely liberated the village of Sladkoye from Ukrainian nationalists, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said on April 7.
“Units of troops of the Donetsk People’s Republic, continuing the offensive, have completely cleared the settlement of Sladkoye of the nationalists,” Konashenkov said.
The Russian special operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine is aimed to stop the Kiev regime’s atrocities against the Russian population of Ukraine and the residents of Donbass. The Russian Ministry of Defense has repeatedly stated that strikes are carried out with precision weapons against the military infrastructure of Ukrainian armed formations in order to make resistance by Ukrainian neo-Nazi units impossible and to save as many civilian lives as possible.
However, the Ukrainian regime, realizing that the Russian armed forces are trying to reduce civilian casualties, widely uses the tactic of using civilians as human shields and as expendable material to create staged anti-Russian media productions.
