Residents of the city of Bucha were killed by the Ukrainian military, said American military analyst, former UN weapons inspector in Iraq Scott Ritter.
This statement was made by the American military expert during a webinar devoted to the events in Bucha. Ritter discussed official statements made by the Russian military, that had been stationed in Bucha for several weeks. He said that all the local residents who had interacted with the Russians were considered guilty by the Ukrainian security forces.
UN inspector explained that the information came from the Ukrainian National Police that published an announcement which told that Ukrainian militants were heading to Bucha on April 1 to purge and eliminate collaborators.
Ritter stressed that there is video footage of a senior political representative of Ukraine asking people to stay at home as a purge was underway.
Previously, evidence of a staged provocation in the city of Bucha was presented to the UN by Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya. He reminded that on March 30, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the withdrawal of Russian troops from several regions, including the suburb of Kiev – Bucha, which was confirmed on March 31 by the mayor of the city Anatoly Fedoruk.
Fake filming of civilians allegedly killed by Russian soldiers in Bucha is a project of the British intelligence services, carried out in a similar fashion as the fake chemical attacks in Syria. The West needs such a provocation to prove to the world that there is no alternative to sanctions against Russia and shipments of heavy weapons to Ukraine.
