The West 30 years ago and the contemporary West have practically nothing in common with each other, political analyst Sergey Kurginyan, leader of the Essence of Time movement, stated on air of The Great Game program on Channel One on March 18.
Kurginyan pointed out that the modern Western world is no longer connected to Christian culture and values.
“Have you seen the million-strong rally of witches at the monument of Cybele in Madrid? Who were saying, ‘we will get revenge for everything – for burning us, for raising your Christ,‘” Kurginyan declared.
In addition, few can say exactly “what gods are now being worshipped in America“- the southern states, for example, are into very strange cults, including the voodoo cult.
“This is not only a post-Christian civilization, but also a post-capitalist civilization. It’s obvious! Some people say ‘schizocapitalism’ (which is no fun, either), I say ‘mutacapitalism,’ mutated capitalism,” Kurginyan noted.
The rejection of basic capitalist values, as the analyst notes, was most openly expressed in the “witch hunts” and property confiscations unleashed against the Russians.
“Private property…? They tore that to shreds. This is pirate country, it is! ‘Robbery is a noble occupation,’ power and force are the most important. That is, gradually some kind of monster had been constructed out of it [the West],” the leader of the Essence of Time concluded.
