Russia has sent more than 2 thousand tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported on March 17.
The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia informed that since the beginning of the operation the residents of Ukraine and Donbas received more than 2 thousand tons of humanitarian aid from Russia, which included food and basic necessities.
“This week, 50 heavy-duty vehicles of the Noginsk and Don rescue centers of the Russian Emergencies Ministry delivered more than 500 tons of humanitarian aid to Donbass and certain regions of Ukraine,” the press service added.
The shipment of humanitarian aid is being assembled in the Belgorod and Rostov regions and in the Republic of Crimea. Employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry also took part in the sorting of humanitarian aid.
