90% of the Ukrainian military airfields where the main body of combat aviation was based have been put out of service – the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Kiev direction

The Russian Armed Forces grouping advancing from the Chernigov direction is coming closer to Kiev.

At night there was a massive air strike near Balakleya, which has long been under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. It is reported that from the west the Ukrainian army tried to counterattack.

Kharkov direction

On March 10, three humanitarian corridors will be opened in the Sumy and Poltava regions: Sumy – Poltava, Trostyanets – Poltava, Krasnopolye – Poltava. The ceasefire regime will be observed in their area until the corridors are open.

Near Kharkov, positional combats are underway.

Izyum is captured, mopping up of the surrounding area is underway.

Yashka Tsygankov, a Russophobe from the Right Sector (organization banned in the Russian Federation), was killed in the combat in Izyum. It is a Georgian from the Right Sector (organization banned in the Russian Federation) with the call sign “Yashka”.

Southern direction

Liberation of the LPR and DPR

LPR defenders discovered a concentration camp created by Aidar (organization banned in the Russian Federation) in liberated Polovinkino.

A group of DPR troops, continuing their offensive, took control of the villages of Blizhnee and Tavla. The advance amounted to 4 kilometers.

DPR soldiers took five neighborhoods in Mariupol under their control: Azovsky, Naydyonovka, Lyapino, Vinogradar and reached the Azovstal plant. In the western part of the city, the Zapadny Microdistrict was liberated.

The DPR People’s Militia told and showed what the Ukrainian military is doing in Mariupol. In order not to let civilians out of the city, they blocked the roads. People are put out of cars and sent back to sit in basements.

A real famine has already begun in Mariupol: there is no food or water in the stores. Russia is trying to deliver humanitarian cargo, but the trucks aren’t allowed through.

People’s Militia forces, supported by the Russian Armed Forces, continued their offensive along the border with Zaporozhzhye Region, cutting off escape routes for the nationalist units.

The DPR Interior Ministry officers identified more than 40 former members of the Ukrainian security forces in the liberated territory.

Attempts by members of Ukrainian nationalist formations to leave the special military operation zone under cover of civilians have been recorded. The population of the Donetsk People’s Republic should pay attention to the appearance in towns and districts of people who are poorly versed in the area or who avoid conversations with local residents.

Particular attention must be paid to people moving into empty houses and apartments, having a speech or timbre that is not typical of the area, moving in small groups at night, and wearing clothes that do not fit.

The situation in the republics

Seven civilians, including two children, were injured by shelling in liberated DPR territories.

A Tochka U rocket was shot down in the DPR.

The 108th humanitarian convoy from the Russian Emergencies Ministry arrived in Donetsk. The cargo included food, essential goods for priority provision to the affected population, including in the liberated territories, as well as firefighting equipment.

The payment of pensions and social benefits began in the villages of Granitnoye and Staroignatyevka in the liberated territory of the DPR.

Donetsk

As a result of a strike on the outskirts of Donetsk in the evening of March 9, a church in the village of Aleksandrovka was damaged, and a resident of the Trudovskaya mine village was wounded.

Donetsk authorities arranged water supply for technical perposes at seven points in four districts of the city.

Yasinovataya

The center of the village Vasilievka, north of Yasinovataya, was shelled from Grad missiles. 8 private houses and a car were damaged. The town is completely left without electricity.

Yakovlevka and Donetsk-North station (71 km) were shelled. An apartment building in the area of Donetsk-Severny was damaged, in Yakovlevka residential houses were damaged.

The LPR

According to clarified information, as a result of yesterday’s artillery shelling of Pervomaysk, a 65-years-old civilian was killed, 5 households and outbuildings were destroyed, and a medium-pressure gas pipeline was damaged.

Pervomaysk and Logvinovo were shelled with 120 mm artillery.

Shelling by the Ukrainian army does not allow restoring power supply to the Donetskiy village, Golubovskoye village and Berezovskoye village, which are part of Kirovsk.

The vehicles of another convoy of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations delivered more than 53 tons of humanitarian aid to Lugansk.

The republican mobile operator Lugakom is using base stations in the territories liberated from Kiev’s security forces to ensure the operation of mobile communications in these areas.

Political situation

The Russian and Ukrainian foreign ministers held talks in Turkey’s Antalya.

Lavrov at a press conference on the results of the talks:

Russia presented Ukraine at the last round of talks with concrete proposals for a settlement, Ukraine has taken the Russian draft into consideration;

Negotiations with Ukraine in Belarus have no alternative, and we assume that the current contact will not devalue them;

Russia at the talks confirmed that Moscow’s initiative to open daily humanitarian corridors in Ukraine remains in force;
