Analyst about Western diplomats leaving Kiev: The West surrenders Ukraine

14.02.2022, Moscow.

Western ambassadors’ moving from Kiev westwards in Ukraine suggests that the republic is being surrendered, political analyst Yuri Baranchik wrote on February 14 on his Telegram channel.

Previously, the main personnel of the US embassy to Ukraine reportedly moved to Lvov. Before that, Canada and Australia took similar measures.

According to Baranchik, these events, the moving of diplomats from Anglo-Saxon and European countries from Kiev to Lvov, “are indicative.”

“In particular, it suggests that the West removes its diplomats in advance from Kiev to avoid any conflict with Moscow after the city is taken. Kiev is given up. It is given to the Russian area of influence,” the analyst stressed.

These events, he continued, “are possible if an agreement has been achieved between Moscow and Washington regarding to whose geopolitical area of influence Kiev and what was formerly called Ukraine will belong.”

“Therefore, Lvov will be the new transition capital city of the Ukrainian state until it is seized in another division between Poland, Romania, and Hungary,” he added.

Baranchik reminded that he described this scenario back in 2016 in his article published by the REGNUM agency. In particular, the analyst indicated that “for Moscow, the best scenario, in this case, is formation of stable financial economic enclaves oriented to Russia within the borders of the current regions in the central and south-eastern part of former Ukraine, followed by integration of a new entity on the ruins of Ukraine,” while “Poland should deal with the three western regions of Ukraine”.

He indicated that “the issue of Transdniestria and Moldavia can be reiterated” due to accession of Bukovina to Romania.

“This also makes clear why Odessa and Odessa region will also become part of the Russian geopolitical influence are: to ensure a border with Transdniestria and Moldavia,” the analyst indicated.

“Therefore, future Ukraine will not have access to seas, which is also good as this will rule out any problems with supplies of Belarusian potassium and other goods from the Union State through the southern ports of the former USSR,” he concluded.
