07.04.2021, Moscow.

The Security Council believes that biological weapons are being developed in the laboratories under US control located near the borders of Russia and China, said Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev to Kommersant newspaper on April 7.

Asked by a journalist about the possibility that the Americans are developing biological weapons in their laboratories near the Russian borders, Patrushev said he had good reason to believe this was the case.

“We are told that there are peaceful sanitary stations operating near our borders, but for some reason they remind us more of Fort Detrick in Maryland, where Americans have been working on military biology for decades,” Patrushev said.

Patrushev explained that more and more biolaboratories under US control are appearing around the world, they are springing up like mushrooms, especially near the borders of Russia and China.
