Kurginyan: US adopts new strategy of imposing democracy by force

04.04.2021, Moscow.

The idea of super democratization of countries by force is a new strategy adopted by the US administration, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on March 30 on the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on the Russia One channel.

The political scientist referenced US President Joe Biden’s words that Russian President Vladimir Putin is a killer. These words were articulated for the first time by US senator John McCain in his interview in 2017.

“In this sense, we cannot say that McCain acts as the head of state. He said directly: killer, the KGB, and so on. Going back to Reagan’s policy and speaking from a position of strength, he put these two things together,” said Kurginyan.

The analyst stressed that from a global point of view the US President outlined the contours of a new American global strategy, which differs from what McCain had proposed. At that time, Washington did not make a distinction whether a country was ruled by a “dictator” or a “democrat”. The most important thing was ruler’s geopolitical posture: for or against the US.

“Now all this [speaking from a position of strength] is combined with the idea of super democratization, and this is a completely new strategy,” added Sergey Kurginyan.

The leader of the Essence of Time movement stressed that non-Western autocracies, which had been US allies, have become its enemies according to the new approach.
