Russian Aerospace Forces destroy the militant command post in response to rocket artillery attack on Aleppo

The Russian Aerospace Forces struck against a command post of the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham militant group (organization banned in Russia) in Aleppo on March 22, a Rossa Primavera News Agency’s source in Syria informed.

According to the source, the Russian Aerospace Forces struck in response to a rocket artillery attack on Aleppo city, as a result of which several people were killed and children were injured. At the time of the strike, the militant commander who gave the order to open fire was at the site, the source added.

The terrorists’ command post was in the southwest of the province, 5 kilometers from the front line. According to Russian military correspondents, 20 militants were killed as a result of the strike.

On March 21, for the first time in a long period, the terrorists managed to hit a residential area of Aleppo with a rocket attack. According to the Syrian authorities, two people were killed and several others, including children, were injured.
