The ceasefire was violated forty times over the past 24 hours in Syria, as follows a bulletin published on the Russian Defense Ministry’s website on October 19.

The Russian military recorded 40 ceasefire violations in four Syrian provinces: Idlib – 19 violations, Latakia – 14, Aleppo – 5, Hama – 2.

The Turkish side in the joint Russian-Turkish commission for ceasefire monitoring in Syria registered six ceasefire violations over the past 24 hours. The Russian military however found no confirmation of those data.

Yesterday, the Russian Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides in the Syrian Arab Republic conducted three humanitarian actions to deliver 440 food packages to the villages of Umm al-Zaytun in the al-Suwayda province, al-Amarah (Idlib province) and Kezelja (al-Hasaka province).

Since March 6 2020, ceasefire was established in the Idlib de-escalation zone. The guarantors of the agreement are Russia and Turkey.
