The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) attacked militant fortifications in southern Idlib province on July 15, a Rossa Primavera News Agency’s source in Syria informed.

“The Syrian Army used heavy artillery to attack the positions of terrorist groups in the villages of Fleifel, Sfukhin, and al-Mosra in southern Idlib,” the source said.

Government forces’ strikes in the province of Idlib came amid an attack on a Russian-Turkish patrol near the town of Ariha.

A Russian-Turkish patrol was attacked near Ariha on July 14. The attack was carried out by a suicide attacker using a car bomb.

Three Russian military police officers were injured in the attack. The armored personnel carrier, with which they were travelling, was disabled. It was towed to the base for repairs.
