A fundamental elite schism in the US has resulted in large-scale protests, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said in the program Sunday Evening with Vladimir Soloviev on Russia 1 TV channel on June 7.
The political scientist reminded that, like any system, the political elite is “a set of elements, with connections and a common goal“. The connections and a common goal make the system something more than its individual elements.
For a long time, the US political system had common goals, so there was a consensus between the liberal and conservative elites, Masonic parties, which was called Modernity – the project of Modernity.
“And inside this consensus was a discussion about making a ‘melting pot’. Now there is no such thing anymore, with multiculturalism and everything else, and it was declared that it is no longer needed,” explained Kurginyan.
The crisis we live in is not a split between conservatives and liberals, but a radical schism that is taking place all over the world, “when Likud and Avoda (the right- and left-centrist political parties in Israel, which are currently in the parliament – editorial note) are looking at each other through a gun sights.“
The intra-American conflict was a manifestation of a fundamental split between the fragements of the Modernity Project, which needed a “melting pot“. After this split, Kurginyan is sure, there will follow a different world order. “It seems to me that now such a reorganization of the world and of humanity is underway, which are underestimating,” said the leader of The Essence of Time movement.
