Over 50 violations of ceasefire committed by Ukraine were reported over the past week in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the head of the DPR People’s Militia Eduard Basurin said on December 5, according to the official website of the DPR Operations Command.
According to Basurin, the Ukrainian military not only used small arms, but they also fired 120 and 82 mm mortar shells on the DPR territory.
Also, the Ukrainian army widely uses electronic warfare systems along the contact line in order to prevent OSCE drones from detecting the acts of shelling, the DPR People’s Militia head added.
Despite the agreed ceasefire, the Ukrainian army systematically shells DPR positions. According to Eduard Basurin, over the period from November 25 to November 30, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire over 63 times.
