26.11.2019, Idlib.
The White Helmets together with militants of the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham militant group (organization banned in Russia) brought vehicles with chemicals and professional video recording equipment to the de-escalation zone in Idlib, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on November 26.
The ministry officials believe that another fake footage about an “attack” of the Syrian army and the Russian Aerospace Forces against civilian targets in the Idlib de-escalation zone is being prepared.
According to the ministry, local residents reported that unidentified people arrived in Sarmada (a town 30 kilometers northeast of the Idlib capital city) accompanied by armed militants in trucks in early November.
Reportedly, the trucks transported parts of air-delivered and artillery munitions with labels of the Russian and Soviet army as well as vessels with chemicals and professional video recording equipment.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, several sources confirmed that the members of the White Helmets and the militants of the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham militant group (organization banned in Russia) are preparing a provocation.
The militants recruit local residents to show consequences of air strikes and the use of chemical weapons in fake footages.
Previously, the President of Syria Bashar al-Assad said that the White Helmets organization is terrorists’ branch operating as a wing of al-Nusra (organization banned in Russia).
