The situation in Syria is the main topic of talks between Russia and Turkey, stated Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov on April 5.
In particular, launching the work of the Syrian constitutional committee will be discussed, as well as stabilizing of the situation in the Idlib province.
Other issues for discussion include the delivery of the S-400 anti-aircraft systems to Turkey, the implementation of the TurkStream gas pipeline project, and the construction of Turkey’s first nuclear power plant in Akkuyu.
Also, leaders will meet with representatives of the business community and take part in the opening of the cross-year of Turkish-Russian culture and tourism.
It will be the third meeting for the presidents this year.
It also should be noted that the issue of launching the work of the Syrian constitutional committee is key to peaceful settlement in Syria. Writing and working out the details of the new constitution will be the main task of the committee.
