The US policy of applying pressure on Iran has failed according to Iranian Foreign Minister, the Turkish Anadolu news agency reports on March 31.
The Islamic Republic of Iran’s (IRI) Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed Javad Zarif, wrote on social networks that, in his opinion, the policy of US pressure on Iran has failed.
According to Zarif, despite the fact that the United States is trying to make the lives of ordinary people in Iran harder, “the Iranians will not bow their heads to pressure.”
In November 2018, Donald Trump introduced a second group of sanctions against Iran. The sanctions target the international financial and energy sectors of the Iranian economy, as well as shipping.
Earlier in May 2018, the United States unilaterally withdrew from an international treaty with Iran on its nuclear program.
