As a result of a shelling by the Ukrainian military forces, a house was completely destroyed in the village of Zaitsevo and one more was damaged in the town of Dokuchaevsk, informs Donetsk News Agency on July 8, citing Ivan Prikhodko, the head of the Gorlovka town administration.
No one was injured. A group from the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination in the DPR moved to the shelling site.
The village of Zaitsevo is located to the north of the town of Gorlovka, and Dokuchaevsk is to the southwest of Donetsk. Both localities are situated near the demarcation line drawn on the basis of the results of Minsk agreements. The trilateral Minsk agreements on cease-fire include a clause which prescribes to withdraw heavy weaponry of a caliber exceeding 100 mm at least 15 km away from the line of contact and prohibit aerial activity, including drone flights.
The area of the village of Zaitsevo is regularly subject to strikes by Ukraine. This April, a strike completely destroyed a hospital and injured two people. At the same time, in the town of Dokuchaevsk a strike killed two civilians.
