Classical music performers of Ermitage Musical Siglo XXI and a Spanish bard from Galicia Jorge Casal gave a charity concert to help Donbass in the concert hall of Casa de Cantabria in Madrid, a Rossa Primavera News Agency correspondent reports on June 22.
Before the concert, which took place on the day of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the audience observed a minute of silence in honour of all fallen in the fight against fascism and Nazism.
In his opening statement, the President of the Blagoe Delo (Good Cause) Association Roman Demjan thanked the performers, numerous movements, Spanish social organizations as well as people of different nationalities who do not remain indifferent to the conflict in Donbass for the support in organizing the event and for the participation.
The concert was organized by the Blagoe Delo Association, which carries out all Spanish humanitarian and informational initiatives of help to Donbass residents for the past 4 years. The Blagoe Delo Association has managed to send more than 5000 kg of humanitarian aid to Donbass with the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreing Affairs, the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations, Aeroflot airlines, and the Coordination Council of Russian compatriots in Spain.
