Exhibition dedicated to development of trade, political, and cultural relationships of two countries opened in Shenzhen on September 14, Xinhua news agency informed.
The historical-documentary exhibition Silk Way was organized with participation of the Federal Archival Agency of the Russian Federation and State Archives Administration of China and was timed to coincide with the eighteenth session of Chinese-Russian Committee for Humanitarian Cooperation.
The event will last three months, about 140 important documents from archival repositories of Russia and China will be exhibited for the visitors. The public can get acquainted with the history of Russian-Chinese relationships for the last three hundred years, moreover, some of the records will be present for the first time.The visitors will be able to see the correspondence of Russian and Chinese emperors, evidence of close political and economic contacts, on the exhibition stands.
The Eighteenth session of Intergovernmental Russian-Chinese Committee on Humanitarian Cooperation took place on September 12, 2017, in Guangzhou*.
