The Ukrainian army utilizes heavy artillery in the area of Yasinovataya. The Ukrainian reconnaissance drones are noted over Gorlovka. The enemy is preparing a provocation in Avdeevka, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on June 8.
On the northern direction, the Ukrainian army shelled the villages of Zaytsevo and Zhovanka. The Ukrainian reconnaissance drones were noted in the sky over the south-western outskirts of Gorlovka.
On the Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian troops shelled Yasinovataya, the villages of Yakovlevka, Mineralnoye, Spartak, the area of the former Donetsk airport, as well as the village of Trudovskiye in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk. The Ukrainian army significantly increased fire intensity on the Yasinovataya part of the front. Active combat was underway in the area of the “Yasinovataya” checkpoint and in Avdeevka industrial zone. The Ukrainian army utilized heavy artillery, mortars, heavy machine guns. The drones were used to adjust artillery fire.
On the Mariupol direction, the Ukrainian army shelled the villages of Oktyabr, Kominternovo, and Sakhanka.
DPR PM intelligence received information that the Ukrainian side is preparing a provocation involving the heavy shelling of Avdeevka with the Ukrainian army’s artillery to accuse the DPR People’s Militia of killing the peaceful civilians and violation of the ceasefire agreements. The provocation is to conduct between 8 and 12 June.
On June 7, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 52 times. 20 villages and towns came under Ukrainian artillery fire. 8 houses were damaged. There are problems with electric power and gas supplying in Yasinovataya. Pumping station of South Donbass water pipeline was shut down. According to DPR PM command, one DPR PM serviceman was killed, and another one was wounded.
