Despite the insignificant decrease in the shelling intensity, the Ukrainian side continues to conduct provocations along the contact line, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on May 15
According to the local residents, the Ukrainian army opened fire on the suburbs of Gorlovka, in the area of Zaytsevo, Zhovanaka, Shirokaya Balka, and Zheleznaya Balka, with tanks, mortars, anti-aircraft guns, and heavy machine guns.
Trench combat of variable intensity was underway in Avdeevka industrial zone. The situation remains tense on the Mariupol part of the front and near Dokuchaevsk.
There is no information on the destructions and victims among the civilians.
On May 14, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 48 times. 16 villages and towns of the DPR came under Ukrainian artillery’s fire. In the village of Trudovskiye, west of Donetsk, one house on Mamin-Sibiryak street was damaged as a result of the shelling. The village of Leninskoye, the Novoazovsky district of the DPR was left without electric power after the power lines had been damaged.
