On Victory Day a memorial event was held in Treptower Park in Berlin

The event was organized by “Essence of Time” movement cell in Germany. This event was meant to remind the German public about the courage, bravery, and heroism of the Soviet people and the Soviet soldiers during the Great Patriotic War1 . The organizers of the event also honored all those fallen for the cause of defeating fascism.

Specifically for the event, the organizers prepared poster stands in Russian and German languages with documents and photographs about the Great Patriotic War. The documentary material told about the dedication and valiance of the Soviet people, and stressed the everlasting significance of the Victory Day in today’s time. Songs and poems about the war were performed during the event. About ten thousand people came to Treptower Park on May 8 and 9, according to the organizers.

Immortal Regiment marched through Munich for the first time

Several hundred people took part in the procession of the “Immortal Regiment” in Munich on May 9 Rossa Primavera News Agency correspondent reports. “Immortal Regiment” march began at 5 p.m. at the Wittelsbacherplatz and ended with the flower laying ceremony on the Square for the Victims of National Socialism. The “Essence of Time” movement cell in Germany organized the event. According to the organizers’ calculations, several hundred people took part in the procession. Many participants came to the event with children.

During the rally that took place after the march of the “Immortal Regiment”, representatives of “Essence of Time” recited poems and sang songs about the war. They also delivered a speech in which they urged not only to honor the memory of our great ancestors, who saved the world from fascism, but also to be worthy of them by fighting back fascism, which raises its head again in many countries around the world.

Essence of Time unit report for May 9

Between 9.35 and 10.25 AM, during the official rally, the Ukrainian artillery started to shell the village of Bezymennoye in the Novoazovsky district of the DPR. 3 civilians were wounded, 5 houses on Pushkin and Druzhby streets were damaged. The enemy fired 70 shells with 152mm and 122mm mortars. Fire came from the positions of the 36th Independent Marines brigade of the Ukrainian army and the “Azov” neo-Nazi battalion.

During May 9, the Ukrainian army was provoking trench combat near the villages of Zaytsevo and Zhovanka, north of Gorlovka, in Avdeevka industrial zone, north of Donetsk, near Dokuchaevsk, and on the Mariupol directions.
