The situation at the front-line territories of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) deteriorated.
In the north of the Republic, the Ukrainian army shelled the northern suburbs of Gorlovka city, Zaytsevo village and Uglegorsk town. The shelling was conducted by automatic grenade launchers, rocket-propelled grenade launchers (RPG), and small arms from Golmovsky village and Svetlodarsk town.
On the Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian army shelled Avdeevka industrial zone, “Yasinovatsky” checkpoint using mortars, small arms, RPGs, recoilless anti-tank guns. In the north of Donetsk city, a combat using heavy artillery was heard.
To the south of Donetsk city, the Ukrainian punitive forces shelled the western suburbs of Dokuchaevsk town, where a five-storey building and a shop were damaged as a result of the direct hit of the shell. The shelling was conducted by heavy artillery from Taramchuk village.
On the south part of the front, the Ukrainian heavy artillery was shelling from the positions near Starognatovka village.
Due to the night shelling, Zaichenko village was left without gas supply. To date, the supply was restored.
According to the Command of DPR People’s Militia, during the past day, a militiaman was killed as a result of the shellings on the part of the Ukrainian army.
DPR People’s Militia recon reported on the arrival of the foreign coordinators in Galitsinovka village occupied by the Ukrainian army. Their main task is sabotage.
The units of the 80th Independent Guards Air Assault Brigade arrived in the area of Mikhailovka village. These units had not been spotted in the zone of so-called “Anti-Terrorist Operation” (which is commonly known as a Kiev junta’s punitive operation – Editor).
“Our recon obtained information on the preparation of a provocation by the militants of the organization “Right Sector” (organization banned in Russia), deployed near Avdeevka town, with the support of the foreign mercenaries. The provocation is to take place within the area of responsibility of the 72nd Independent Mechanized Brigade shortly,” Deputy Operations Commander of DPR Eduard Basurin claimed.
Storage facilities of chloride near Donetsk water filtration plant and Verkhnekalmiusskaya filtration plant will be sabotaged to provoke environmental disaster aimed, first of all, at the Ukrainian army.
According to updated information, during the past day, 27th January, the Ukrainian military criminals violated the ceasefire 1,270 times. 70 152mm and 122mm artillery shells, 5 tank shells, 555 mortar shells as well as well as 551 grenades of various calibers were fired. Infantry fighting vehicles and small arms were used.
