Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) violated the ceasefire on almost all directions of the front, however, the intensity of fire remains relatively low. According to local residents, trench warfare with the use of small arms periodically erupts on Debaltsevo direction.
Today in the afternoon Ukrainian military shelled”Aleksandrovka” checkpoint west of Donetsk by 120mm mortars. Civilians, who were at the checkpoint, fortunately were not hurt.
Kominternovo village got shelled by mortars by AFU in the south of the Republic as well.
DPR recon discovered up to a battery of “Akatsiya” 152mm self-propelled artillery guns (SPGs) and up to a battery of 122mm D-30 howitzers on Debaltsevo direction; a platoon of “Osa” surface-to-air missile systems and a squadron of 152mm “Akatsiya” SPGs on Donetsk direction. The arrival of nationalist “Sich” battalion was registered on the south direction.
According to updated information, on December 25 Ukrainian military opened fire on the territory of the Republic 189 times. Gorlovka, Shyrokaya Balka, Vasilevka, Yasinovataya, Dokuchaevsk, Kominternovo, Leninskoye were shelled. 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, IFV guns and small arms were fired.
