The implemented ceasefire significantly decreased the intensity of shelling from the Ukrainian side. Apart from rare individual violations, the ceasefire, as a whole, is observed.
DPR recon continues to register the reinforcement of Ukrainian army’s positions by military hardware and artillery. Up to a battery of “Msta-S” 152mm self-propelled artillery guns (SPGs), a battery of “Akatsiya” 152mm SPGs, and up to two batteries of D-30 122mm howitzers were discovered on Debaltsevo direction. A battery of “Akatsiya” 152mm SPGs and up to two batteries of “Grad” multiple rocket launchers were discovered on Gorlovka direction.
According to updated information, on December 24 the enemy fired on the territory of the Republic 224 times. Mortars, grenade launchers, IFV guns and small arms were fired.
